Whats happening with Creative Industries?

The creative industries is so broad and was responsible for 2.8million jobs in the UK last year. Its one of the few places we can learn about culture and art and offers professional careers to those who want to dedicate their lives to their passion.

It's incredible seeing people of all ages and at various stages of their career work together within the industry to play an important role.

The planning that goes into the projects that make up the industry is crazy. Even for a simple track or music video there is weeks of preparation. Tons of creatives talent is expressed to make sure we have lots of art, media and music to enjoy.

Behind the scenes, the energy is crazy and the shear dedication that people demonstrate to get the job done is impressive. No matter how minuscule some roles may seem everyone's job is vital. A busy, hive of activity, videographers, photographers & producers, all play an important role within the creative team.

The list of roles within this team goes on and on. Typically you wouldn't consider these individual's however its important to big them all up and show appreciation. After all we are lucky enough to be able to enjoy media and absorb culture in so many different forms. For some it can even help on a bad day which goes to show the power behind the expresion.

It's unfortunate parts of the creative industry has been shut down recently due to Covid-19. Some would argue we've not received enough support from the government but please don't let that put you off doing what you do best. We can and will continue to adapt as well as making the most of different grants which are available.

In times of stress we need art more than ever and can work together to ensure that the creative industry continues to thrive as best it can. After all we owe it to the industry after providing us all with a safe space to create and enjoy art. With so many creatives involved I'm sure we can all work together towards this common goal.
