1. Can you tell the viewers what you do? Where are you located?

We are based in Wrexham, North Wales and in a nutshell we promote hip-hop and grime from around the country!

2. How did you get started? As a collective of local rappers. We were all turning up to Voicebox, a spoken-word evening in Wrexham that was headed by Larynx co-founder Tim Humphreys-Jones and doing our own bits so we decided to band together to help one another along. After a few years we transitioned to the platform we are today.

3. What is your goal?

If we can help one artist in Wales gain one more stream, one more view, one more fan, that'll do it. Of course the scope of things we could do is varied but at the root of it all is the artists we try to champion.

4. Have you seen a difference in music community since starting?

Absolutely. Artists up and down the country are interacting with each other, individuals and other platforms are communicating and pushing one another. It's been amazing to witness the growth of that community as well as the artists involved in it.

6. Do you have a team or is this a solo- run project?

There's myself (Dave), Pete, our co-director who slaps me on the wrist if I spend any money. Tim mentioned above, he's constantly in my ear chatting about new and creative ways to promote and showcase artists and Danny who's handled almost all of the video content that you see on our Youtube 5. How do you stay updated with every single artist?

Mostly scrolling through social media and making notes of who is releasing when or when an event involving an artist we'

re interested in is happening. Like I said there is a community of artists, platforms and indeed fans now that help spread the word around about what's going on. 7. Do you have any live events in the pipeline?

Providing COVID doesn't get in the way! We're hosting alongside Reckless music and FOCUS Wales January 15th in Wrexham for a hip-hop/punk style crossover event plus a link up with Ladies of Rage early 2022. Hopefully we'll get a couple more of our flagship showcases happening too and a few crossover events with other platforms in Wales. Plus, a secret...I'll leave that there! 8. What are your plans for 2022?

More of the same, continuing to throw whatever we can at the wall in the hopes that artists in Wales performing hip-hop and grime get the recognition they deserve. That's what it's all about.
