Music Artist of the Month: Eadyth

Firstly, Wow, You've been doing amazing these last few years , tell us, 1. How long have you been making music for?

I’ve been a producer for about 3 years now after realising I had passions for creating my own tracks. I’ve always had a love composing music. I picked up the guitar when I was about 14 and I learnt some simple chords on YouTube and it all started from there! My very first song was ‘stuck in the middle’ and I composed it using literally one chord and to this day, I still try to play it now and again 2. What is the process for making a track?

I usually start with some neo-soul piano chords and then I create a simplistic beat and build. Sometimes it can take a really long time for me to form a song depending on where I am emotionally but it’s not something I care about. I love making music and hearing everything come together no matter how long it takes. The process for me is really important 3. Which local artist would you like to collab with? & Why ? I’ve recently become a massive fan girl to electro Ableton queen Kelly Lee Owens. Her live shows are out of this world and are massively inspiring to me. Seeing female producers and women in music is a big influence 4. What tunes are on your playlist at the mo?

Some of my favourite tunes at the moment; Massive attack- Teardrop Sampa the great - Final Form 5. What is your greatest achievement to date? & Why ?

My biggest achievement is always how far I’ve come. I’ve managed to live as a musician and as a creative and that’s my biggest achievement. I wouldn’t have been able to make that happen without people like BBC Horizons, Forté Project BBC Radio Cymru and the welsh music scene. 6. What will we see more of from Eadyth in 2022?

I have so many exciting opportunities this year!
